Right tail light not lighting up when driving lights are engaged

    2005 ESV

My right tail light does not light up when I put my driving lights on. However when I apply the brakes they light up and turn signals work. Changed all the bulbs. Also I replaced the "block" which the harnesses connect to. Still doesn't work.

I'm lost and frustrated. Can someone please help...

Is the right rear park lamp fuse blown?(its a 10amp fuse in the under hood fuse box labeled rr park)

Both rear lights have a separate fuse for the running light circuit

I checked that fuse also. It is not blown.

Can it be a failed tail light wire harness? The whole electrical system was clean, not damaged, all plugs were mint

I wonder if its a bad ground for that harness

I will look at my service manual and find the ground point and get back to you

    Update
After looking at my service manual it looks like all the lights have one ground so it must be a bad harness

Ok I will have to check more but its likely a bad ground since all of the rear lighting is on one ground
I will look up the ground point and update you where its at

Could you tell me the part number for just the wiring harness that goes from the block to the right rear tail light?

I was at the dealership and they couldn't find it. Apparently I have to buy the whole rear wiring harness
