    help!!

I have an 04 escalade and I accidentally left my rear driver side window crack last night and it rained all night. I didn't know the window was open until 2pm this afternoon and it also rained all day. I rolled the window up and dried everything off and went to work. When I got off work at 6 I got in my beloved escalade and was heading home when the rear driver side window rolled all the way down on its own. I was like what the crap? I tried to roll the window up from the front master switch and the window didn't roll up. When I got home I opened the back door and tried to roll the window up using the rear window switch and....it wouldn't roll up! I left it alone (the rain had cleared and the sun was shining) a couple of hours later I noticed a new storm rolling in so I went outside and attempted to roll it up again and nothing. So I grabbed a trash bag just in case it started raining again and while I was getting the bag ready it started POURING down rain. Now my beloved 'lade has a trash bag on the rear window :-( my question is.....how do I remove the window switch so I can dry it out and hopefully roll my window up?

Till you can fix the switch jumper the motor and try working the window that way

Also(its worth a try) hit the window lock button on the driver controls then work the main switch

The motor is a 12 volt motor so it won't hurt to use a small battery to work it(just be careful)

The motor wires are dark blue and brown

    It works this way
When rolling the window up the brown is ground and vise versa

Also take a multi tester to probe for voltage to the motor from the switch

Don't forget the dash lights also are tied into the rear window switch(for the back lighting)

    ----------

Also the switch has to be replaced its not a repairable type
