Also remember the PCM has the vin number encoded in the software(if the bcm doesn't see the correct vin the truck won't start)

Yes I was told that by the company I got the pcm from which I thought might have something to do with my tranny problems I've been having but it's still giving me problems. It's very odd to me that the rebuilt tranny I bought gives me the same exact problems as the previous tranny , I'm running out of ideas . Don't know what to do next? Tranny still has a 2-3 flair up when it shifts. Guess I'm going to have to contact AME transmissions and see what they suggest

Still no change even after I put the new PCM in the truck . Any other ideas of what could make the rebuilt tranny shift exactly how my old failing trans was shifting?? I could understand if the rebuilt had some issues but to do the same exact thing as the old trans is mind boggling almost like it's something other than the trans which I thought would be the PCM

I would check the wiring harnesses between the PCM and the tranny

What about a valve body shift kit? Another suggestion I was given is to get a Sonnax boost valve but I would have to drop the trans to get to the pump for that right?

There has been a few other members who have got the shift kit and had great results

You would have to drop the tranny to gain access to the pump

Do you know what voltage I should have at the TPS during idle? Could a faulty TPS effect the way the truck shifts?

Ok let me know there are no codes or check engine light in the truck but I figured it's not a bad idea to go over it anyway
