Auxillary port options.
What options are available for installing an auxillary port on an 05 escalade Platinum with navigation, bose, 6 disc cd, and rear dvd entertainment? I was a bit confused reading the Pac-audio website. I only want the port to plug in android phones for music (no need for I-Pod). I understand there are hard wired and non hard wired options. has anyone else gone through this experience? Much appreciate any guidance!

Get a media gateway its plug and play and it allows you to have Bluetooth and aux in both
I have one in my 03(iPod and Bluetooth) and love it

Cargo/fog switch $20
Steering wheel buttons $40
Climate control $55

Looks to be a good price...I was also looking at an ebay user found in a searched post named rider....good to have options!

I know he done a great job and even emailed a pic of it when he was done to show the results before he shipped it
FYI pack the cluster really well as they can get damaged in transit(didn't happen to me but was told at the post office at the time I went to ship it)

Re: Auxillary port options.
Do you know if his $55 climate repair includes replacing the led lighting? Mine works fine except three of the switch backlighting LEDs are burnt out

I believe that is included in his service. It is the same guy with the ebay store, I have him saved on my sellers. I believe his ebay store is called thegaugepro. Ill link when I can, it is linked on these forums in an old post...its where I first saw him mentioned. Hard to search from phone....later ill dig it up and link.

Yes it is as I confirmed it with as my hvac controls have a few bulbs out(its just having the time to pull it to send it in)
Also if you have the headlight switch done he recommended sending a new switch as the regular bulb yellows the diffuser for the light
Pretty much if it has lights he can convert it to LEDs

02 Cadillac escalade (needs cluster repaired due to faulty stepper motors)
03 Cadillac escalade(wanting to convert to LEDs)
One needs the cluster service(had him do my dad's h2 cluster and its a big improvement to the looks and visibility of the guages)
