    Best shocks for 2005 Escalade?

Time to replace and I just said hell to it with the Air suspension. I never have heavy weight in the back or tow and its cheaper. The service ride control is getting really annoying. Recommendations? 2005 Escalade Regular 5.3L. Regular wheel base.

What about the Arnott Conversion kit?

    You don't have "air suspension".

The original shocks are "gas shocks", and they have an integrated air bladder for load leveling.

Take your pick from any of the brand name replacements. I would suggest Monroe. But just installing non ELC shocks won't stop the message from displaying.

Heres a post I made last month in a similar thread. Replace all these parts and you will be set.

Sorry, I did a cut and paste and I guess the links didn't carry over. Just look in the thread I posted, they are in there.

Bilstein shocks would be a good replacement for your Escalade. My cousin just recently bought a set from 4wheelonline. He said its way cheaper compared with other online store and he just installed it by himself. The ride comfort after installing it was very noticeable compared with the oem shocks he had before.
