Yes it was at the right level on the original trans
Which I did a fluid and filter change on, now with the rebuilt trans I put in it still has the same issue.
Could it possibly be something with the PCM

Re: 06 escalade tranny 2-3 shift flair

If you replaced your old failing trans then there is likely "TAP" codes set in the computer. TAP stands for Transmission Adaptive Pressure. If the computer sensed the shifts were taking too long, pressures weren't right or any various parameters then the computer "tries" to fix it by jacking the pressures or adapting shift. Get to a trans shop or dealer to have these codes deleted so the computer can learn all over how the new trans behaves. I hope you flushed your trans cooler and lines, if not then you could have sent debris into the freshly rebuilt valvebody and caused problems. See this kit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SUPERIOR-SHI...item1c3b0a14ce. on ebay . I have used this kit to fix or improve the 1-2 and 2-3 shift in the 4l65e trans with very good results.
