    Led headlight bulbs

Before anyone says it nuts (it's not)

I know some of us are huge vled fans

I recently got a set of the cree led headlight bulbs(see link below)
    http://www.vleds.com/bulb-type/headlights/led.html

I got a set for my car along with a set of these
    http://www.headlightrevolution.com/S...rr-hpl4656.htm
(They say hid but its a 9005 base)

I am pleased to say they work great

I may get a set and try them in my truck on the high beams

Finelly LEDs are getting useful for headlight bulbs

If anyone wants a side by side comparison let me know and I will post a few pics of my car with a halogen and a led to show the differences

Ok I will upload a few in a bit and post them

They are 5000k so its a pure white light and is really nice

    ----------

Here is a pic of the led and driver(yes the driver box is needed)
    http://i1364.photobucket.com/albums/...pstuuqmxjr.jpg
Here is a side by side with a halogen
    http://i1364.photobucket.com/albums/...psea6ac914.jpg
Here is how it looks from behind the wheel(note the aim needs to be redone on the low beams)
    http://i1364.photobucket.com/albums/...psea6ac914.jpg

As you can see the left headlight pretty much does the whole light path while the halogen just sits there

I love them and I think I will swap out the hid kit on the high beams in my truck for them soon

Ps let me know if the pics don't work

    ----------

I made a mistake here is the one from behind the wheel of the car

    Thanks

Btw that was with one led bulb and a halogen

I had a driver fail before I put them in the car(getting a replacement soon)

I will update with both LEDs when I get the replacement driver and get the other led in the car
I will aim them before I take the pic but it won't be till its warmer(currently 9 degrees)

I think I will get a set and ditch the hids on the high beams on my truck but I am going to see how well they do when I convert the high beams on my car over(got to get the housings first)

I will say this they are a HUGE improvement over the old sealed beams my car had before

Ps the dash lights are also from vleds(nice and bright)

    There is a few others
Here is a few links from other vendors

    http://www.jlclightings.com/55W-LED-...ma-p/dp55w.htm

    http://store.ijdmtoy.com/mobile/prod...d%2Dheadlights

The second link is in a mobile format because of my iPhones browser but it works

There is also some usable LEDs on eBay for cheap but its up to you if you want to risk it

I ordered a pair from eBay for my cars high beams and will update and post pics when I get them
