ok so i added half a qt yesterday and topped it off to the 5th hole on the dipstick. Ran it a few a times ,later that night I still got the Check engine Oil message.. I went into the oil settings and saw that engine oil life was at 3%, i reset to 100% ..hope that does the trick....not sure why it would
still keep showing me that message if its full...

It could be a bad sensor, another thing I noticed when about a year ago I had issue with a check engine light, once the error was detected and light came on, I could not get it to go away unless I had it reset. Sometimes auto zone would hook up their machine and do it for free or I would pull fuses to reset the pcm I believe it was. Maybe check oil light is same way, once it is triggered you need to have it reset.

No reset on the oil level sensor, I'm going to go with intermittent failure
