The white color of the esacalde is pearlescent white

Its a three coat paint job
You have a white base coat
    Then the pearl coat
    Then the top coat(finsh)

Its hard to do right though

I realize I might be too late.

Why not go to Napa or a major parts or paint store and have a color mixed for you. They can shoot it with the color analyzer and come up with a formula to match what you have. Even a custom two stage paint would be closer than any color on a color chart.

Why don,t you get the paint code from the car? Every GM,s paint code is at the bottom of the options sticker of the vehicle. Look to spend around 900.00 for white diamond paint and the clear coat.

that looks very nice. I liked the green, but the white isn't bad either.

did you end up using a color off your chart or the factory code paint?

Ended up going with the color I asked for.. Not really sure I got it tho lol, I am happy with the paint job which I paid a total of $720 for, I matched it up to my 12 CTS and it's a bit lighter but I'm very happy, I'll be sure to take more pictures when I throw the chrome grill on there

$720 for a paint job? Is that US dollars?

Did they do any prep?? How long did this paint job take?

Re: Painting 02 Escalade White tomorrow -- need help

Haha yes US$ got a 5 year warranty for gloss/cracking/peeling, took about 3-4 days, did a lot of prep, the hood was a mess, the guy I got the escalade off of got it at auction and the hood looked like it got ripped apart by a raccoon or something, roof was very worn as well... I'm very happy for what I paid also.. They painted jams/under hood and truck... I'll post more pictures of that as well

FYI:: I got the escalade, with 92,000 miles brand new brakes, AC and tranny... Got it checked out with receipts and by my mechanics for 7,000, worked him down from 9k. Interior is perfect outside of some normal wear on front seats.
