    Rear Speakers Don't Work

I have a 2003 Escalade EXT, replaced the stock radio with a Pioneer unit...everything worked fine for a couple of years...then the rear speakers stopped working...checked the fader in the unit, put it all the way to the back, no audio...only the fronts work...going to take it to get it checked out, but before I do, is there something as simple as a fuse that would power the rear speakers? Thanks.

    Eric

I had a similar problem w/ my old avalanche, did you replace the rear speakers at some point? What happened in my case is the rear speaker wires were routed incorrectly and got snagged in the window and eventually after enough opening and closing of the window started to become damaged. However it could also be the amp.... you will need to get a meter on the HU output and the amp output and see where it's going dead.

If factory Bose speakers try a aftermarket set and see if the problem goes away if not then the amp or adaptor is bad

Not really as I had my drivers speaker act up before I installed my infinity speakers and it was the speaker connection

I haven't had a problem since hence why I suggested trying a aftermarket speaker
