    D1R replacement's

Anyone know where to get new low beam HID bulbs for our Escalades? I have read to many horror stories of fake Sylvania and Phillips D1R HID bulbs on eBay. I was thinking the Sylvania Silverstar D1R HID's possibly? I am fixing to clean the haze out of my headlights and thought that I would just update the low beams while I was in there. Thanks in advance!

    Re: D1R replacement's

Our drivers side burned out a few months ago, I went the Auto Zone route and purchased the Phillips replacement for about $100.00. I did not replace both together "like we are told to do". Anyways I put the new one in and it was a shade off for a few nights, but it has changed to match the original from '05 on the passenger side.

The parts store bulbs are much yellower than the factory 4,300K bulbs.

I believe the originals are Philips XenStarts (they are for other models). You can get them here for less than the aftermarket ones, and you save a little more if you buy 2:

I have bought bulbs from them, they're genuine.

What is the cross reference to a D1R, Kensun as their bulbs starting with an H1, H2 etc?

It will have D2 or D1 depending on the factory socket but the bulb will work with either d2r or d2s sockets(same for the d1 bulb)
