    Question Navigation Unit for 02 Escalade

    Anyone know where I can find a factory original Navigation unit for an 02 Escalade ?

    You won't be able to, it wasn't an option. The NAV systems for the 03+ won't work either b/c the wiring is not the same. Your best bet is aftermarket.

    I doubt it. I'm pretty sure the radio system changed over from 02 to 03. Also we don't have VSS for the NAV so the updating would be based on the GPS, which can get choppy. Also the steering wheel controls changed so you would probably loose those too.

    Your Body Control Module would have to be changed. It needs to be a Data Class II, to communicate with the radio. The cost would out weight the install.

    If u get the aftermaket all-in-one unit, do you have to change the speakers? I heard you have to change the speakers because the factory is 2omhs and aftermarket is 4?.

    If u want to install the aftermarket and keep your bose system, than you need to buy a interface or something like that.
