    Hello Triniboy 1234,

I apologize that your airbag light has illuminated on your Escalade. I would suggest taking it to the dealership to have it diagnosed. If you would like my assistance with working with the dealership, please private message me and let me know. Thank you very much for your time.

I believe it's a defect of some sort, since mine also was "fixed" by the dealership. They explained that the housing where a sensor is moves or something causing the light to come on. I've had this damn light problem for 2 years now, which is intermittent and it has gotten "repaired" twice already.

    2005_ESCALADE,

I understand that you've been in several times for the Service Air Bag light and that there has not been a permanent resolution. We're sorry to hear about this and would be happy to check into this further for you if you like. Please contact us via direct message if we can be of assistance (include your name, the last 8 digits of your VIN, and more details about the situation).

Yup, going to need to find out which sensor it is. From what I remember there are at least 4, two in the front by the bumper and two side impact sensors.

The driver's front went bad on my 05 as well but I have a Tech II so I was able to find the bad sensor without having to throw parts at it.

That sounds like a bad wire or loose connection

I am also having this issue. Has anyone found a solution or can direct me to the location of the sensors that I could check the wiring?
    Thanks

They are behind the front bumper for the front sensors
Below the front door sill for the side sensors

The "service air bag" warning light went on when I inserted a long maglite flashlight in the bottom right side of the driver seat. That caused a wire clip to be unplugged. I damaged the 'clip stop' but I was able plugged it back in and the warning light went off. You might have accidentally unplugged the wire clip.
