Gear Indicator or PRND321 display not working
After looking and not finding any instructions, I'm posting what I did to fix this, it's pretty easy, first remove the gauge cluster from the vehicle, take it in to a bench, disassemble it as if you were soldering new lights / LED's in, and on the front of the circuit board you'll find a bank of, if I remember correctly 6 resistors up near where the plug is, the circuit board around these will look heated, mine had white printing that looked yellow from the heat, the resistors are grouped in 2 rows, 2 or 3 on the top row, and 4 or 5 on the bottom row, all you need to do is hold them in place with a small screw driver and heat up both ends of each resistor with a fine point soldering iron and re float the solder to make the connection solid again, that's it, the PRND321 display will be as bright as the day it was purchased.
BTW this was on a 2003 Escalade

That's good to know, thanks! I've seen mine on occasion appear as if it was dimmer than it should be
