    Cool My 2004 Escalade!

My search ended this past Saturday in Tennessee. Here are the stats:

    190k
    AWD
    6.0L
    2 owner

    Here are some exterior pics.

Also, here are some of the service notes from the carfax report.

    50k miles
    Body electrical wiring repaired
    Wipers/washers checked
    Alignment performed
    Fuel injector(s) flushed/serviced
    Emissions system serviced
    Body electrical system checked

    80k
    Drivability/performance checked
    Throttle body cleaned/serviced
    Body electrical system checked
    Antifreeze/coolant flushed/changed
    Emissions system serviced
    Brakes checked
    Fuel injector(s) flushed/serviced
    Power steering fluid flushed/changed
Transfer case and both differentials serviced

    90k
    Steering/suspension checked
    Alignment performed
    Transmission checked

    134,293 miles
    Vehicle serviced

    160,567 miles
    Four wheel alignment performed
Rear brake pads replaced and rotors resurfaced
    Axle seal replaced

    169,888 miles
    Vehicle serviced

    190,192 miles
    Anti-theft/keyless device/alarm installed
    Oil and filter changed
    Washed/detailed
    Tires rotated and balanced

It has a slight squeal when turning to the left, the nav disk is out of date, backup sensors don't work. Also, the headlights seem super dim. I know they have some haze on them, but dang. I believe my model came with HID headlights. I'll be doing a lot of searching to see if there is already some info on how to address these issues.

This is common if you have halogen bulbs in the headlights I've read about similar issues on here.. It's probably residue from the bulb when it gets hot.

If you disconnect and remove the headlight and the bulb and swish around some soap and water.. Others say alcohol.... It will remove the foggy residue

    Then let dry and reinstall

It usually isn't on the outside it just looks like it.. Especially when the fog is towards the top of the headlights

Mine did this I have since changed the high beams to hid(rarely use though) and the drls to led and haven't had this happen since its caused by heat from the bulbs over time

They do on the low beams I did the high beams and fog lights with hid kits(rarely use the high beams unless no other traffic and only use the fog lights when it is foggy or heavy rain
Factory low beams on a 03-06 is d1r (I got d2c which doesn't have the paint strip) here is where I got the kits and my low beam replacement bulbs
    www.kensun.com
The bulbs are 50 bucks for a set of two the kits price will depend on how you configure the kit when you get it

FYI the 4300k bulbs is stock and give the most light output(they color shift to 4500k as they break in which is a pure white light) and I have that color on all three positions anything else and you lose the lumens(which is what you need to see at night)
