1999 Driver's side Wiper motor replacement....

Driver's side wiper motor sounds horrible when operating, like its metal on metal with no lubrication. Assuming it needs to be replaced. Is it a difficult job? Can't seem to figure out how to access it without removing the dash?

    Any insight would be appreciated.

    Chad

There is only one motor, you need what is called a wiper transmission assembly. It is not that difficult to replace just remove the top cowl vent panels and you can access it from there.
