Waterless car wash and wax is the best.... No need to clean with soap and water before giving it a quick spray wax.... This is all in one and really looks great on black paint trim, and an chrome

I also use the aerospace protectant form my dash and leather.... Stuff has a great shine... Repels dust and lasts for like a month

Everything listed above is super easy wipe on wipe off... Virtually no buffing/effort

    Re: Detailing

I need to wax my Escalade... I need to buy a power buffer this time around, as my Coupe Deville took me FOREVER!!!

One product i have used that showed good results is the Meguires leather conditioner that comes in the pump bottle. I have an older Lexus as well that had a severely neglected interior, and that stuff has actually softened it up significantly

I use wolfgangs polish and swirl remover, which is forumlated by Mezerna. Does a terrfic job raven black. But you do need a DA with an orange or yellow pad to get the best level of correction. For washing I use Adams PH balanced soap and great white towels for drying along with the Adam's Detail Spray as a drying agent. Waxing and sealants if have found Opticoat for a sealant which last for 4-6 months and I use either chemical guys black wax or adam's americana. I am kind of at a toss up on the wax and I will experiment more once the weather is warmer.

why is OC only lasting 4-6mo? its a permanent coating (resin) not a sealant or wax. it should last years, not months.

My suv lives outside year round. And you can scour the detailing forums on threads discussing the length of protection and most users do a top off every other month. it just depends on conditions and climate like anything else. It does a good job and doesnt break the bank, i switch up sealants every so often, and I have yet to see one last for years, I think the claims are a bit unrealistic.

I am thinking about investing in a pressure washer but don't want to spend over 200. Any one make any recommendations on how many psi/ gpm I should use... Thanks in advance
