Thanks guys! Ok I've got a small issue. More a question of if I'm looking at it correctly. The right rear
Bucket seat appears to have a sliding mechanism to allow entry into the third row. However, when I tilt the seat it does not slide on the tracks, or even seem to "want" to. Am I correct? Does this in fact tilt and slide via some motion of the handle? Am I using the handle in the wrong way? Or does it not slide at all? I
Ah input from fellow ESV owners with the second row bucket seats. Thanks!

Nate the second row buckets fold flat
First pull the seat bottom(via small strap)
Then the handle releases the seat back
The seats work the same regardless of the body style(base, esv)

The seat has to be folded ALL THE WAY forward in order for it to disengage the lock allowing the back to be folded down. You may have to move the front seats up a bit in order to get it far enough forward to disengage.

Also, it's possible that the latch is sticking, especially if the PO never folded the seats. Mine was doing this when I got it. I had to spray a bit of lubricant on the latches and bang on them a bit with a hammer to free them up.

Re: Looking to purchase! Need advice!!

Looks to be in great shape! congrats... I begrudgingly got rid of my 03 diamond white ext last year, after replacing the front diff, manifold gasket, and rear shocks (arnott). it was in mint shape cosmetically..i bought it in 2010 w/ 90k on it for $15,000..
After coming to my senses, i actually almost bought it back, but the guy decided to keep her.
So i picked up a 2004 black ext yesterday w/ 99k on the clock for $12,000. The trans coolant lines have small leak, and a few bulbs are out on the dash, steering wheel, and that sensor on the dash under w/shield is broken.
After taking it to a 3rd party inspection, found that it had a new gm trans, new brakes all the way around, and front end was tight.
I have a friend that's a local Caddy tech, that does work at the dealer after hours...a great savings!!!
