    Re: Air Ride Questions

UPDATE: Took it to dealer, here is what we had happening: No Power at DLC, Inspected and found blown 15 amp fuse, Code C0625 was found. Left Rear Height Sensor rod disconnected. Reconnected and its been working fine so far. I will be pulling my trailer this weekend and we will see if it stays pumped up!

Thanks for all the help guys.

    UPDATE AFTER TOWING:

Well, its still sinking After the work they did, I loaded up my trailer. took off, when I got to destination, same thing, back end on the ground. I guess they cant check it at the dealer with a load, buts its still irritating. Going to go up underneath today and spray soapy water.

Check the lines one may be bad or has a pinhole leak in it.

    Re: Air Ride Questions

i went through same exact thing: sagging rear while towing.
sprayed water on shocks and saw bubbles so got the arnott/bilstein shocks.
Installed them but compressor sounded weak and would sputter on/off.
Then bought arnott compressor and swapped it on and its great now. Truck rear is pretty high.
The stock dryer can was a bitch to open up but once opened, it was corroded inside and filled with water. The arnott compressor came with a new dryer can so that was cool.

I get a "Service Ride Control" messge everytime I start my 2005 Escalade EXT but nothing else seems to be wrong. What can cause this? Could it be a bad sensor?

The only way to tell is have the codes pulled at the dealer with the tech-2 most likely it's the compressor.

    Re: Air Ride Questions

    From my other thread

"I had already installed their OEM Re Built shocks because mine were shot. I still had a rear end sag problem with my boat trailer loaded and suspected my compressor wasn't putting out enough pressure because it was worn out...I was correct. I installed the Arnott replacement compressor and drier rebuild kit and bingo...no more problem. The truck is very stable, rides like a cloud and sits level with 400 lbs of tongue weight on it. It took about 2 hours to do the job and now have Arnott's complete Air Shock/Compressor replacement package with a lifetime warranty for less than $500.

I recommend this to those of you with rear Air Ride issues.

    Re: Air Ride Questions

So I am having the same service light and compressor NOT coming on. I did the relay jump with a wire and the compressor came on, so I then pulled off the air lines to the shocks to see if the compressor was pumping air and both sides had air being pumped. So where do I go now as I know the compressor comes on when jumped. I know it is pumping air to each shock. But not coming on with the key. HELP.
