    How come my nav won't play dvd's?

    First off I wanted to say hi. I am a noob. My question is I have an 04 Escalade and I was told that you can play dvd's when it is in park. Well I tried this out and have not been able to make this work anyone have any idea's? TIA

    I think that maybe your nav is the same as the SRX? If you do a search from the main page you will find much on this topic. Good Luck!

    AFAIK the Escalade DVD NAV will not play DVDs without modifying the unit itself

    Really? the hardware is there. Are you sure the codes in the other posts won't work? If not, that sucks. I can't imagine paying X dollars for a "DVD Nav" that can't even play video in park! How much is that option anyway?
