    Quick question regarding lug nuts

I have an 05 escalade platinum with the 20" rims and I just bought some 22' escalade rims just wondering when I get them swapped do I have to change the lugnuts? not sure if the depth is going to be the same or not.

I don't see how it can be a problem.

my buddy just got a new chevy truck and had the rims upgraded at the dealer and the lugs on the 18s that were stock dug into the 20s that they put on - I guess the rim is a different depth and it wouldnt tighten all the way down

You might could try one and see if it works or not.

Most of the lugs on the market for american trucks have a conical seat but the "Acorn" type may be too fat... Most custom wheels require small diameter lugs that require a socket to remove such as these 31GZEN0XEEL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

If you are going from stock wheel to stock wheel, the lugs should work.

Usually the issue occurs when people go from stock to aftermarket, and then you have to change from conical seat lugs to ball seat lugs, or vice versa.
