    Driver Seat Back Movement

So the seat back of my driver seat has about a 1/4'' "give" in it, I can wiggle it back and forth. The passenger side doesn't do this. I've begun to notice at harder stops and starts, the seat actually moves a little. It's extremely annoying.

I've narrowed down the culprit to the seat recline mechanism. It looks like the motor that the bar runs through for some reason is letting the bar move just enough to cause the issue. Has anyone ever had this issue, or replaced just the seat recline mechanism? Haven't had much luck with a search.

I'd consider replacing the whole seat since my leather needs replacing anyway. However, the seat would have to be for an '02, since the '03+ have slightly different leather stitching.

    Any thoughts?

The best way is to replace the whole seat because the moters and linkage can't be repaired separately.
