    Question about rear A/C

I really enjoy running the rear A/C in this big black SUV...it speeds up the cooling and does a great job of cooling the entire vehicle on out hot/humid South Florida days.

I have wondered if running the rear air adds any particular extra strain to the system. From a mechanical engineering perspective I actually think that it helps to run it to keep all of the components exercised. Does running it regularly harm any thing?

Nope as they both are running off of the same compressor so if you hit the a/c defeat button on the front controls the rear don't get a/c either.

Also running the rear air regularly won't hurt it I know as I run mine a lot in both summer and winter it helps when I am by myself in the truck to just set the overhead controls to auto then adjust the temp to the front works wonders with the heat.

I do a lot of commuting to my collage classes.
