Re: 2006 escalade rear climate control not operating

Is it working from the master control above the rearview mirror? If it is, is the rear turned on from the master controller? If all is set to work from the master control, is anything showing up in the LCD HVAC display for the rear? If all is working to that point, then I would suspect fuse, blower resister or blower motor.

    Good luck!

I hate to correct you but there is no blower resister only modules on both front and rear hvac controls
But to the op if no response from the system using the rear controls then it is one of two the fuse or someone has disabled them using the front controls.
I know mine has modules for the hvac and it is 03.

That's right--sorry! GM went with a module instead of a resistor in the "auto-climate" vehicles. It is a resistor in the manual control systems.

it depends on the year I know cause my previous car had module controlled hvac system regardless of it being auto climate or Manuel controls I know my Mom's 98 chrysler town&country minivan has manual control system and it is module controlled.
So yes it can be controlled by a module even with the manual control systems.

It may be the hvac module in the system which is in the rear behind the trim panel cost for it will be about 100.00 bucks to get a new one and you can do the work yourself using my how-to in the FAQ section of the forum.
