Rr Suspension, Self levelling System Crap'd out.

Hey Peoples, another Caddi gone bad. My Rear Suspension System has crapped out. I know there are lots of threads on this. I need help here. I am sourcing Arnott's systems here. We pulled the compressor, to find it full of water. So I need a compressor. One air shock is shot, so i need two new air shocks.
I am wondering what other owners have done to replace their systems out there.

    Pls reply....

Keep in mind that if the compressor was full of water, you probably need a new dryer as well. I think the Arnott unit comes with a dryer but who knows if your release valve is working properly? In all honesty, if you're planning on keeping the vehicle for a bit, I wouldn't bother with just changing the compressor. I changed the whole compressor "assembly" (part # 15254590) I bought it from partszoneonline.com. They're a GM dealer in/around Pittsburgh. Their prices are very competitive and you get to talk to some body unlike gmparts direct. As for the shocks, I bought the Monroe air shocks. I bought them off of Amazon.com. Everything that I bought was pulg and play. I had all the work done in January. Everything has been great thus far (fingers crossed lol). I tow trailors with up to 5000 lbs and have had no problems (fingers crossed lol).

I just purchased the compressor from Suncore Industries with new dryer shipped for $220.00, and I purchased the Monroe 40032 shocks off of Amazon for $475.00 for the pair. I did the work myself and saved a ton of cash.

I'm not sure where you live in Canada, and it's none of my business, but I would imagine that the dealer prices are going to be very similar across the country. My dealer quoted me $887.00 for the compressor assembly! There's no way I was going to pay the 150-200% mark up. That's why I bought it out of the US.

I ordered the Bilsteins, and an air comp. on line, recieved the parts a week later, this past wkend, they were installed, the mech. told me it is working fine. I haven't had a chance to confirm that it is working correctly. This week, i'll hook my trailer on to confirm (hopefully this evening). I ordered the shocks from Arnott, and the compressor from Suncor....
