Self leveling system problems on 2003 ecalade

    Team,

The leveling system on my 03 escalade keeps running repeatedly. I initially though it was leaking but now it does not seem to be leaking, it just runs repeatedly. There is no load and it appears to be pumped all the way up...
    Please help...

There is a auto leveling sensor on either side of the vehicle that are positioned directly inside of the rear tires. The sensor is a round plastic dial approx. 2 inches in diameter with an arm. From that arm extends a small metal post (approx. 3 inches long) with rubber boots on both ends that connect it to the rear suspension arm. You will probably need to take the rear wheels off to see them, but you should check to see that they are both connected properly. If they both look correct then there is a good chance that one or both of these sensors are bad and will need to be replaced.

    Thanks for the great info!
Do you know off hand how I check these? also do you know how much these might cost.
    Thanks again,

I'm pretty sure these are simply potentiometers. There should be two wires to it, one with a constant voltage in and the other with a varying voltage out depending on the position of the sensor. I could be wrong though, so look into it more. I found a used one for sale on eBay at $150.

the only way to check the sensors on the air shock system along with the ones in the front is with the tech-2 at the dealer. if you want to see on the price call a few dealers to get the price.
