Are you talking about the ride control message?

No, I am talking about the service control module, from what I understand it controls the air ride system

Most of the time when you get the service ride control it is the compressor needing replaced but I suggest going to the dealer to have the tech-2 connected to the truck to pinpoint where the problem is
I know mine is giving the service ride control message and it is the exhaust valve on the compressor.

I can jump the control relay for the compressor and it works fine, what I need to know is what tells the coil of that relay to energize. I read somewhere that the service control module controls the compressor but I can't I can't find this control.

Ok if the compressor motor works then it is the exhaust valve solenoid that is bad,

the only way of fixing that is to replace the compressor unless you are good with working on it and can replace the said part then that can fix the problem.
Ps most of the time people had a problem with the rear air shocks and compressor it is due to aging and leaky shocks burning the compressor up but I suggest making sure your shocks ain't leaking before you replace the compressor.
