Yes it works great, but it wont do it automatically. Make sure your power mirror adjustment button from passenger to driver with the 2 arrows is set to the middle position, and then on the "joystick" style button for the adjustment of the mirros, hold down to the right (toward you) and the both mirrors will fold in, do the same with holding the left to unfold.

I was asking if anyone knows how to get mirrors to fold auto, when truck is shifted into park.

This is definitely possible, but would take a little electrical know how and some wiring diagrams. For example, if you want shifting into park to close the mirrors, you could use a wiring diagram of the instrument cluster and tap into the signal that lights the LED under the "P". If the voltages differ between the mirror switch and that supplied to the Park LED (which I suspect that they do), you would need to find an appropriately suited relay that uses the correct voltage for the switch and activates with the signal from the Park LED. The same could be accomplished to open the mirrors by using the Reverse LED. Since reverse is right next to park, you have to light that LED to get to any other gear and this would ensure that your mirrors are open any time you leave park. I've already put way to much thought into something I have no intension of doing, but I hope this helps you out.

Well since you can tap there you would just need a couple relays to do the work and a wiring diagram.
If I did this I would want a switch so I could disable it in the winter to prevent messing up the mirror folding gears and motor.

Pushing the mirror selector switch to either side disables the folding mirrors.

Without having to use the mirror selector switch, which would cause the mirror to move unintentionally when you shift in and out park and reverse.

Not necessarily, you would not be connecting to the terminals in the switch itself, but to the switch output wires to the "folding" motor.

I know that but in the winter I would want a way to disable it to prevent the mirrors getting stuck from ice.

I get what you saying. What I meant was that, if wired correctly, you wouldn't be wired directly to the left and right of the mirror switch. This would create obvious problems. The selector switch changes the route of the input signal from the switch to either the left, right or folding option. You would have to wire this to the OUTPUT line of the folding option so that it only works when the selector switch is in the middle position and disabled when set to left or right mirror adjust.

Note: It might also be worth while to hook this up so that the mirrors fold in and out with the remote entry system. Same concept but instead of having to shift, they close when you remotely lock and open when you remotely unlock the doors. No you wouldn't tie into the lock and unlock switch, more like the signal to engage and disengage the anti-theft system.
