Usually with monitors like that you just have to track down where the video cable is.. The other wires are just power/ground.. Did the car come with an aftermarket dvd player?

Yes it came with a kvt-717dvd. The car had 9 including the Kvt717. I've removed one but need help with the two visors. My problem is that if you look at the pics I posted there's alot of wiring that goes up The a pillar.

Would it not be easier to simply cut the wires and leave the remnants in the pillar? If you are trying to save the wires, it should be easy to follow the ones from the monitor and remove only those wires. Be careful as you have wires in there for the lighted mirrors, power sun roof, etc.

Since it seems that you are not intending on putting these back in, I agree that the easiest method would be dismounting the visors and cutting the wires to the monitors and leave the wires in place. There should be a minimum of three wires for the monitor, a power, a ground and a video input cable. If you decide to leave the wires in place, you need to be sure and tape off the ends of at least the power and video input cables. The video input cable will also likely be two separate wires inside of one sheath, and these two wire ends cannot be touching either or it could distort the picture to any other monitor that shares the same feed. If the installer of these visors was not an idiot, there should also still be the factory connector for the stock visors inside the hole where these are mounted.

Well I got up there and found the black cord and pulled it and found the grey RCA going to the black as a RCA. So taking it out was a bitch because the previous owner taped every 6 feet behind everything! I got one down and it took one hour to do it and I haven't even gotten all of the cable for the one out yet. I'll post a pic of how long of cable were talking about later when I get the RCA out.

wow that is a lot of cable i didn't see the part where you mentioned you had already got the stock visors i was worried about my truck being in the shop for a new starter. p.s. as long as there is enough wire to use to extend and the rca connector is intact i don't mind.
