It's not the how that's important, but the WHY! It seems like someone put in a whole lot of effort and all they really got was an exposed transmission hump.

I can't quite make out what's on top of the cup holders either. It's weird!

I just noticed there's a normal house dc plug and two ac car plugs!!!

The a/c plugs could easily be accomplished by mounting a converter inside the center console. I can't make out what the controls are above the cup holders either, but since there is two I have to assume that they are likely heating/cooling controls for the cup holders.

I bet I know now I think about it. It might be seat heat. But it could be cup holder controls as well.

I thought about that as well, but there should already be seat heat controls on the doors. The other pictures from your link show the rear seats turn into a bed, perhaps it has to do with bed heating and such. Oh I know, it is a portable pharmacy that dispenses whatever medication the owner must surely be on to cause them to put this horrible looking center console in their Escalade.

costum media car computer nice but i am not digging the exposed center hump but the controls above the cup holders are controls for the media carputer i would like the carputer add-on just not the way the center is done
i know my cousin had me help him build a pc setup for his hummer h2 when he first got when he removed his stock radio and amp really cool plus you have to really be good at working with the interior which he and i ain't which is the reason i ain't doing any mods like this but i got a feeling i will be helping him upgrade his soon since i did it with a pc and now he wants a mac in there but i am not sure.

Just a piece of advice if you do want to put a Mac in your car. Best one is a Mac mini.

i agree but new one's don't have a dvd drive so it will add to the price but i like having the machine hidden anyway so no one can tell what kind it is trust me when i did the one in my cousin's hummer i asked him to get a used nonworking nav unit to use for housing the display and most of the important controls just to have the factory finsh look but i don't do a lot of car computer setups as it is a hard job to do and a lot of work doing the wiring but i am start using mac minis now since they are smaller and can run both mac os and windows.

Well that's not always a bad thing to not have a DVD drive but if it's necessary for one just buy one model earlier that does. Your not gonna be hardcore gaming or anything on it. Unless you live out in your car.

it mainly depends on the budget people set for stuff like this but i agree unless you game just transfer stuff via flash drive or a portable hard drive.
