    Well.. i got fluid changed, new filter, and gasket. No flush with machine, just fluid change. Only drove it for a lil while but it seemed to be doing well. Ill have to drive it a lil bit more to see if the fluid change cured the problem.

    keep us posted but i'd say you done good on the fluid change i got a feeling i will be needing mine done sometime but i may wait until i hit 150,000 miles as mine ain't acted up and i have heard a saying if it ain't broke don't fix it.

    Maybe I am wrong, but you have to drop the pan to change the filter. So why did your not have the lockup solenoid changed? It is right next to the filter? Also I have heard the snout breaking on 4l60e's because it is plastic... A new one can be metal... Plus a new solenoid comes with a new snout. Just curious as the part may have been 50 or so... For a new solenoid.

    Sup Fellas, got the fluid changed over a month ago and i have been riding smooth ever since. So more than likely it was a clogged filter/screen. Thanx for the info. While getting the tranny fluid changed, i got everything changed. Ended up spending about $350 for all the fluid changes, but im sure i wuda needed it at some point.
