2002 Escalade, Popping Noise Discovered Not Front End (Middle Or Truck)
Ok for a while I thought It Was My Front End But Today I Found Out It Wasnt , I Let My Friend Drive My Truck And I Laid On The Ground (dangerous LoL) while he made SHARP left and right turns and I heard the popping noise coming from the middle of my truck as I looked closly I realized my transfer case was jumping up and down when he was turning in circles SHARP left and right, so obviously my transfer case is loose since it moves when turning SHARP only. When he turned normal (Not Sharp) the transfer case doesnt jump up and down and it doesnt make the popping noise it turns smooth. Now here's the questions does anyone know if the transfer case has a MOUNT that stablizes it to the chassie or body of the truck or trans?????
