Adding 1 brand new tire with 3 older ones

Well I got a 3/8 in. bolt through the center of my drivers rear tire. I bought 4 new yokohama 20's back in november and they have between 8-9/32 tread left. They started with 11/32 tread. I have always heard that you should replace both tires on the same axle especially with AWD as it can cause trouble due to the different tire diameter. Would 2-3/32 cause an issue if I put 1 new tire on the truck (06 ESV Platinum)?

absolutely no problem. if it bothers you, check ebay for the same used tire around 8/32. But 8-9/32 is still plenty of meat so you should be fine.
