I just had my transmission rebuilt on my 2005 Escalade ESV. While driving it away from the shop the HVAC system went haywire. It only blows out extremely hot air and the control system does not work to shut down the system. Any ideas?
I have a 2002 EXT and have the same problem. The first yr I had it, it would randomly just blow hot air. I took it back several times, because they said they had to see it when it was blowing hot air. Of course, by the time I got to the dealer, it was blowing cold again. I still have the truck and it still randomly blows HOT. It has been to several HVAC shops, hundreds of dollars later, no one has fixed it. But today for the first time, someone sounds like they may have figured it out. AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR. Its a $40 part. So I have it scheduled to go in the shop and have it put on. Heres keeping my fingers crossed.

i forgot about that it will make they whole system go crazy if any of the sensors for the hvac system go bad no matter which one
