Does anyone know what this harness is for???

Hey guys. Yesterday I pulled out the front left headlight on my 2004 EXT to change the bulb. Behind the headlight I found this wiring harness with a green 2 wire plug. I'm not sure where this goes. I looked and couldn't find the mate. Thanks is advance.

Also I am looking for a headlight ballast for a 2004 EXT. Thanks!

My vote would be air temp sensor.

that would make sense. the temp gauge in the mirror hasn't worked since i bought the truck last year. the dealer said it was the ambient sensor, which i bought and installed to no avail.

thanks, i'll trace out the wiring coming from the sensor to see where it goes.

Maybe that's why it doesn't work

This is behind the left headlight. On the 03-06 style, the ambient sensor is below the right headlight. I traced the ambient temp sensor wiring but once it was into the main harness it was lost. I looked all over and under the hood on the driver's side of the vehicle for the mate to this plug and came up with nothing. If this is for the ambient temp, will there be power there? Should there be power at the ambient sensor itself?
