oh ya, and to the few hater-aiders in here who are tellin him he got ripped off and i thought i read somewhere in here "i coulda got it done for $3000" or some BS like that....check this out, a pair of alligator shoes or ladies purse can cost up to $5000 when it is made of this stuff. There are (8) EIGHT hydes in this truck. How many shoes, boots, purses you think you can get with 8 hydes? Fellas, even the fake croc which is impregnated leather with the reptile print on the back is super expensive so what makes anyone think a real hyde with a fish and game tag still stapled to the tail is cheap? Now were talking gator here, dont forget the high quality white suede everywhere, black suede in some spots, the whole box in back (23 cubic feet O.D.) wrapped in white suede with a 14" Caddy Logo embroidered in the top, the name "chicken" embroidered in all 4 headrests with Caddy script....not to mention the labor it takes to rip apart brand new '04 Caddy seats that still stink of new car smell and completely REdo the whole thing including the amprack, crossover rack, and shroud for the box that i fabricated from scratch out of fiberglass. Did i mention the LABOR part? (oh ya maybe i did)
Take all that stuff i just mentioned to your local upholsterer, tell him you want everything i mentioned and dont forget GENUINE croc and not the fake stuff and lets see the estimate.
write this down and take it with you.
