I wouldn't necessarily say "owned", but I won't blame you for their misuse of terms. They later call it a "heat exchanger" (step 162) which is the proper terminology. It's basically a secondary radiator to help remove heat from the supercharger. It's NOT an intercooler (though that's what they call it). Those familiar with forced induction know an intercooler as a device to cool the air charge. So now that I've taught you a little something today, I guess I'll be assigning the homework this afternoon.

This is DIRECTLY from the "sixth bullet down".....you just owned yourself.

Therefore many turbo charged and super charged cars have an intercooler. An intercooler is a special radiator through which the compressed air passes to cool it off before it enters the cylinder

maybe compressed air doesnt pass thru the radiator, but liquid does and it goes and does its job somewhere else.........heat exchanger, intercooler, whatever bro keep splitting hairs.

the manufacturer calls it an intercooler, I CALL it an intercooler. I get my info from the manufacturer, you get yours from "how stuff works.com"........and even then im still right.

ill meet you halfway though....... ill call it an intercooled supercharger that uses a heat exchanger, happy?

here it is posted up outside a friends house. A friend of mine asked if i could bring the tahoe to his sons 13th birthday party and show off the slumpage and i said Ok. I also brought the 'Lade as a bonus. It was sorta her first time out in public....There was like 50 12-15 yr old kids there it ended up being like a little car show. Let almost all of them sit in the Tahoe and "turn the bass knob up till it hurts".......it was fun.

heres todays work......damn i need a long ass belt. I need to special order it or something because with the supercharger in there the serpentine belt needs to be longer than anything any local store is carrying......namely a K6-1295 (if i dont use a idler pulley) or a K6-1505 (if i do use a idler pulley). Gonna take a little bit of bracket fabbing but this is how its going so far.
