heres todays work. I cant wait to go to my real job tomorrow so i can have a brake!

a little sanding and now its about ready for suede.






now its time to "trim out" the box at the front and sides.

this thing looks like it can stop a bullet now.....the mat i use is very thick.

the next time you guys see this, the back will be completely wrapped in white suede, and a 14" caddy logo embroidered in the top. Updates of course when i get some!!

Thats not even real croc. Its embossed leather made to look like a croc. I do auto upholstery. Its expensive, but not 20Gs.... 3500 for seats and probally 50 for the doors. Thats including the leather.

Hey dumb$hit, that is a REAL hyde, with a fish&game tag stapled to the tail, like the 8 other hydes also had........i dont remember the fake stuff coming with those but you know it all so maybe im wrong :rollseyes:

Maybe you missed where i posted that a few pages back........we went out of our way NOT to use the stuff you are reffering to and went with the REAL stuff instead. I know EXACTLY what your talking about, I sent my man up a sample of both before we started this and money not being an issue, we steered clear of the embossed leather. Thanks for your input though, Champ.

im not one to clown on other peoples stuff no matter how bad, but you brought this on yourself by calling me a liar........i got nothin to lie about, compare the REAL stuff to whatever that is on your dash and seat and try to come up with something to say if you can. That really isnt SUPPOSED to be gator is it???????

The real gator hydes are for Players ONLY thats probably why you dont know much about it.

Hi Onbags, cool interior! With the black-and-white interior, a black-white exterior would make sense. I'm an artist, so here are some design ideas. How about a metallic white, with metallic-black ocean waves around the grille, with more metallic ocean waves lapping up the bottom portion of the sides?

Or, how about the silhouette of a crocodile painted along the sides in metallic black on a white background?


Personally, I wouldn't go with the paintjob from the mag because the black/silver exterior doesn't reflect the b/w interior as well as a black-white exterior would.

I think you'd also find design inspiration from the old classic cars' paintjobs.

I agree with several other posters' suggestion about featuring your wheels in car shows & magazines and getting at least some of your money back.
