Need some easy help from a 2000 Escalade Owner

Was replacing my high pressure power steering hose today and forgot to take a picture of how the hose was threaded before I took it out. If someone could pop the hood and take 2 pictures similar to the ones I have here, that would be perfect.

Yeah, that's what I eventually ended up doing, but it just seemed odd.

One of the bends actually touches the steering column and it felt like I was applying a lot of force to get the threads to align. I think the problem might have been that the new part wasn't 100% the same. It was the correct part number and looked identical at first glance, but it must have been just a little different.

Any chance you know where I could find the pic or diagram of the rest of the Power Steering system?....I have a major leak coming from the left of the radiator...perhaps there is a reservoir
    tucked up near there?
