Have you ever got sponsorship for any part or aftermarket part on the escalade? If so how did you go about it?

Like at car shows you see a pimped out ride with 50 different logos on it. In exchange for the advertising they usually give you the part or sell it to you way cheaper.

I hope no one is willing to drive this on the road. If you are good luck, becuase if you get hit from the rear you are going to make so much damage on your vehicle. Also if you kill the person that hit you becuase they are driving a car and it goes under the truck, good luck on explaining to the police that you removed the crush cans and that the there are no longer absorbers in the bumper. I would think twice before purchasing this item.

it looks like if anything the rollpan is lower than the bumper, so i don't think there will be more of a problem of someone running under you. and this mod is just like anything else on the body. not going to be as strong, but that's a risk you chose to take. it's not any worse than a body kit. i've had custom fiberglass molded onto cars and i hated feeling like i had to protect it, but in almost 3 years, the only thing that broke or cracked was when i was rear-ended and fiberglass or not, it was going to cause damage.

A couple of points - true in Massachusetts and I believe most other states - it's classified as a truck, so it actually doesn't even require a rear bumper, which is what makes a rollpan legal in the first place. Second, whomever does the hitting-from-behind is almost always at fault for following too close and not being able to stop in time.

Lastly, when some jack@$$ yuppy in his bimma slides his hood under the "gas-guzzling, road-hogging, throbbing icon of American excess" that I hold near and dear to my heart - I don't want to know how he "just didn't see it coming!"

"didn't see it coming" that's what the lady said when she hit my friend when he was on his motorcycle. my question was, how do you miss a 6'10" 500+ pound guy on a harley you can hear a mile away (literally) with a giant american flag on the back??? some people have no business to be on the road.

With what onbagz2002 did to his truck is instant show. You should go to a car show and enter that or just go around to all the companies and tell them you have the hottest Escalade. You have another Escalade and they could hook it up and in exchange you have to display it at a car show or have them take pictures. Take a look at this EXT and what he did during a sponsorship. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/463584
