    Wink 2000 Escalade Gas/Brake Pedals

HI guys/gals I've been reading posts all month I love the forum. I'm a new owner of a beautiful 2000 black beautiful Escalade I love it !!! I also still have my old 1993 Landcruiser the ride is like night and day I have one problem though I hope it's not to weird. I had knee surgery 12/03. and this is the problem. In the Toyota the gas and brake pedal are almost even with each other. In the Escalade there is about a 3 inch gap between the two. Which requires me to lift my foot off the accelerator to brake which in turn is killing my knee. Does anyone know if there is an adapter to put on the accelerator to make the accelerator and brake more even so I can just slide my feet across to brake as in the Toyota ?? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I would love to drive my new truck without feeling pain in my knee and at the pump
    Thanks !!!
