    Unhappy Chrome peeling

Hey I decided to detail my Escalade on this hot yet boring sunday afternoon. As I was scrubbing down the grill, I noticed that I had so many nicks or deep scratches on that chrome line above from the grill. I was wondering if any of that happened to anyone else escalade. I think that it is from the bugs hitting the front at night.

It sounds like you have a lot of stone chips, I see this on many of my customers cars or trucks that drive I95 or the Turnpike daily.

Yeah, I guess you are right. I drive on the Jersey Turnpike often. Since I love the Lac so much guess I gotta get them buffed out.

You should try getting that clear bra. I forget the name of it, but I think 3m makes it. It supposed to be a thin layer of clear plastic adhesive. tape that is pre-cut for your car/truck. Kinda like a clear bra for the front end.
