1999 Fuel Injector

Hey guys, newbie here. Now before you direct me to the FAQ section, cut me some slack. I'm in line to pick up a 99 Escalade with 140k for 5000. Good deal huh? I think so too. Anyway it needs a fuel injector replacement; I found the part online for 70 or so. Any word on labor time for this? Also, anything else I should look for when I go test drive it? I really appreciate it!

Welcome to the forum! You found the best spot for reference and online help for your future caddy! No worries about the slack departement lol. I'm curious on the defect injectors? I'm not aware on premature failure of those on 5.7? Just need to make sure its not hiding a more serious problem. For the test drive, check all buttons, 4wd, dunno if that generation had air ride suspension? Replacement of the two injector rails can't be more than a 2-3 hrs job, its somewhat similar to the 6.0 layout. Keep us posted!
