    Reliability of a Escalade AWD?

Hey guys, I am on the market to purchase a 04 Escalade AWD. Can you please give me some feedback on the overall experience with this particular model. Are there common flaws or defects I should watch out for? Thanx for any feedback....

    David

Re: Reliability of a Escalade AWD?

I have had my 03' Escalade for a year and a half, it's the best truck I have ever owned, I have had 6 Suburban's and 4 Grand Cherokee's in the last 10 years. I have had it in 40" of snow at my home in upstate NY and thanks to my Bridgestone Revo's we were able to get there, the Escalade does a lot of things well, and it rides great and does not feel it's size when you're behind the wheel. The sound system lacks bass, but sounds ok with CD's or sat. radio.

Re: Reliability of a Escalade AWD?

Hi - We have had a total of 4 AWD Escalades (two 2002's, one 2003, and one 2004) and all of them have performed great. The one common problem between all of them has been an air leak around the windshied molding...easy fix, though.

Thanks for the replies. Would it be wise to wait until Dec. to get the '04? The dealer is asking about 56K for a fully loaded (without DVD) before tax right now. I wonder how much the '04 will depreciate by the end of the year. What do you all think...?
