Side Air Vents

Remove this ad
Hi All,

I just came across an online accessory site and saw universal side vents for escalades, it tickled my fancy and pondered purchasing...

I own a 2005 escalade and was wondering if anyone installed these or are opposed to purchasing them..

By the way - they are basically a chrome sticker (makes for easy installation).

Anyways, would love to know what everyone thinks..

Cheers!

Re: Side Air Vents

Got a link to confirm they are what I'm thinking?

If they are what I'm thinking, I would say no.

I think they are a fad and completely distasteful.

At least where I live, I see them all over and they look like crap. They are not functional and are no longer unique.

I would spend the money on something more useful or tasteful.

My 2 cents. Sorry man. Wish I could be more positive.

Keep it clean and simple. My opinion.

No problem, thanks for your suggestion!

Re: Side Air Vents

Interesting article that kind of captures my thoughts.

Now, if someone wanted to add some functional side vents to their escalade, that would be bad ass

They are only OK on a car that comes with them stock. I would prefer it if Cadillac hadn't even put them on their new vehicles. It was a Buick thing because of heat and airflow and now it's a retarted trend that I hope dies any day now...

Re: Side Air Vents

I like em...The most dated looking thing on these Escalades is the now boxy front end..If you get the right vents(Exact copy) they add a bit of elegant line and flow to the fender in my op

Re: Side Air Vents

If they don't come stock (07 and above) or have a real purpose (a sticker... give me a break) then what's the reasoning behind putting them on your 60K$ vehicle. I laugh at people with these fake vents on their cars.
