For those of you who have bagged

I am considering bagging the Escalade vs the 2/3 drop. I've already found some 24's and wanted to see what the ride was like on a bagged Caddy. How much different from the stock ride is it? Can you also offer suggestions as to what system to run, tank size, and how much install would be. TIA.

    Regards

    Walter

Re: For those of you who have bagged

I am also going to be getting bags on my escalade by october...and i already have a fully custom air system on my excursion, the ride will of course be bouncier but it all depends how much much air you have in your bags, if the bags are full up, you will practically hit your head on the headliner if your on the freeway and hit a bump, my suggestion is too play with them a little bit, ride up and down your street and see what works best...anyways, if you want a full system, compressors, tanks, bags, 10 switches...anywhere from 2000-3000 depending on who you talk to. You should remember to get plenty of compressors, and if so an extra alternator and battery to help you run them all, or else the compressors may kick on sometimes while you are away from your car and may drain your battery, so thats my suggestion i hope it helps, o and make sure your bags are clear from any other objects because they sometimes can rub and over weeks or months, you can pop a bag...

Talking Re: For those of you who have bagged

I have the air ride and it doesn't ride to good but havin switchs is cool but definetly NOT a daily driver. i paid $10,000 installed with (2) 7 gallon tanks and 2 viair compressors.i seen what ALLeyez187onME said about the compressors come on well mine used to do that and i just had a friend rewire it to where it only comes on when i have the engine started other wise your batterie will go dead.If you do get air ride it's cool but prepare for your kidneys to get jarred from all the bouncin and i even had shocks installed. Also figure out your ride heigth not to much camber so the out side of your tires dont get balled i found that out the hard way. Here's the place i got mine installed they did a really good job and i had them take out my four wheel drive because i wanted to sit lower.

    onbagz2002- Sweeet Rides!

Thanks for all the info guys. Considering I use this to take my kids traveling, I think I'll stick to the 2/3 drop, and use the left over money to add some screens to keep them quiet on those long trips!

    Regards

    Walter
