Yea, the new denali looks too much like a yukon and a tahoe, which i dont like! Even though they all have similarities, you can tell a escalade when you see one

No parking assist with the Denali, and no 4/50000 mile warnatee. You get a paltry 3/36000. That to me is worth it. I've owned the Denalii, and now 2 escalades (both 03 and 04). Esclade is hands down better choise, and not much more money either. If your going to spend Denali money, mise well go all the way. Not to mention GMC service is TERRIBLE compared to Cadillac.

I have an 02 Escalade and a 01 Tahoe. I bought them both brand new. Yes they do look almost the same. But when driving you can feel the difference. The Tahoe compared to the Escalade feels like it has no horse power or anything and it seems like it takes hours to get to 60 mph. Also the onstar services our a whole lot different. With the Escalade you get so much more. I don't even think you can get directions from onstar in the Tahoe. While driving the Tahoe and getting into the Escalade you def already feel a difference. Seats are so much comfortable. You have so much more power. It is so smooth and I feel so much safer in the LAC than the Tahoe. I know that a Tahoe is a step below a Denali. If you can afford a Denali than you can probably be able to shell out a little more and get an Escalade. I have had my Escalade for almost 3 yrs and I still love my truck. Stick with a Caddy and not GMC.

I am completely devoted to cadillac. Just being honest.
But remember this is a cadillac forum, not a chevy or gmc. Don't expect backtalk on the caddy.

regardless of anything, it comes down to personal preference. Get the one that YOU like and that fits into YOUR budget.

I traded-in my 02 Avalanche for an 04 EXT. I can tell you that the EXT have a little more horsees (345 HP vs 290)under the hood and a smoother ride than the Avalanche.

the main difference is when you drive around town in a cadillac people notice, especially if it's on wheels, when you drive a denali, or avalanche nobody cares !!!

Re: Escalade vs. Denali vs. Avalanch

i have an EXt and i test drove an aval. i thought the EXT was more comfortable and looked 'classier' from the inside. the aval. looks like a truck inside and the EXT looks like a luxury vehicle. plus the EXT has more power.

my cousin has a denali and he liked my EXT much better than his denali. now that's not comparing the same model, but it gives you an idea. riding in his denali was like riding in a truck where riding in my EXT was like riding in my dad's cts.
