I paid $440 canadian each for Monroe's, which are identical to the OEM shocks, which were $900 each. Monroe's have a lifetime waranty, OEM's dont! |

I was able to snag the last set of rear shocks avaialbe for my 05 Escalade!
Now the question is....where do we get the fronts at a reasonable price!
OMGoodness, the dealer wants almost $500 each, and they do not even come with a lifetime warrantee!
So any sugestions where I might get a set of front for a decent $$$, please let me know.
Thanks, |

2. Place jack on pumpkin of rear end to get bolt holes on shocks mounts to align
3. Remove top and bottom bolt of shock
4. Unplug autoride wires and air line
5. replace, reverse instructions
Should take you no more than and hour... |

I'm due for shocks come spring I think, Outta make it ride alot smoother. The 24's take a toll on the suspension I'm sure! |

Actually it is only usually hard when you have to fight corrosion or the shaft on a shock starts spinning when you try to remove the nut.
Escalades can be easy but there are factors that can make it pretty hard.
