I would get Michelin or Bridgestone, something with a tread wear rating of 420 or better, Michelin's Cross Terrain SUV or their Pilot LTX, in Bridgestone their Dueler D683 is a good choice

    Re: New Tire?

I put Michelin Cross Terrain's on my '00. They don't look as racey as the Goodyear's did, but I'm getting better tread life. Road noise is not noticeable. I didn't notice any differance in ride quality. I'm not the type to push the tires to their limits. Wet and snow traction is good. So far so good.

hvcone - Did you find the Bridgestones with blackwalls?? I'm also in the market for some tires. Been watching E-Bay for take-offs from someone up grading to a bigger rims.

Also would you happen to have some picts of your ride with the Bridgestones??

    Thanx!

I turned the white letters to the inside, if you e-mail me at carl@hcvind.com I can send you a few shots of the tires, I do not have any on my web site at this time

I have had Duellers on my Denali and got good treadwear out of them. Only complaint is the noise after they were a little.
