Front Bumper Parking Sensors for ESV?

Has anyone installed FRONT bumper parking sensors on an ESV? If so where did you get them?

I'd also be interested in how they work. For instance if you are in traffic is the sensor constantly going off or can the system tell the difference?

    Thanks in advance,

Re: Front Bumper Parking Sensors for ESV?

i have never seen any Escalade with front bumper sensors, but i wish i could have the sensors myself. i like to sit really low in my escalade, so i can never see the front of my car. Hence, when I park, i have to sit up and thats hard work for a lazy person =).

however, on the SUVs that do have front bumper sensors (X5, Cayenne, one other) they have a button to turn it off. In Traffic, unless turned off, the front bumper settings will beep. But i believe those sensors don't start beeping until your closer to the object infront of you or behind you, unlike the Escalade park distance, which will beep 4-5 ft away.

i haven't seen any front park sensors, but i would think it would get annoying. i really don't have a problem pulling into anywhere (of course now i'll probably hit something ) i would think just leaning up and learing where the front of your car is would be easier. i know on corvettes you can't see the front, so you just have to learn where the front of the car is.

I think the front bumper parking sensors will be an excellent idea. All you need is a switch to turn them on/off. I will be getting an Escalade ESV next year and I might look at getting something like that installed.
